EPR Kigali Presbytery has one (1) health center and two (2) health posts in order to safeguard the population health.
An effort to improve the health and well-being of Christians and the population in general, the Presbytery has organized various activities in the different Parishes to protect the health and well-being of the population.
For this occasion, an awareness day on health in Muvumu parish was organized on April, 6th 2022, which activity had the following objectives.
- Based on the Bible, to teach the community the importance of having a body healthy life;
- Teaching the public on the non-transmissible diseases, their treatment and various ways to prevent them;
- To council people the use of mosquito-nets and 460 mosquito-nets were distributed to the people;
- Blood Pressure test was made and the suspected positive cases were sent to Rwahi health center to be treated;
- Campaign for the prevention of covid 19 and for the vaccination for those who are not vaccinated.
